Frequently asked question

A deadlock is a situation in an OS where a group of processes are all waiting for each other to release resources, but none of them ever do. As a result, all the processes remain blocked and can't proceed. Deadlock typically occurs when four conditions are met simultaneously: mutual exclusion, hold and wait, no preemption, and circular wait

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is connection-oriented, reliable, and ensures that data is delivered in order. It’s used in applications like web browsing (HTTP) and email. UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is connectionless, faster, and doesn't guarantee delivery or order. It's used in applications like video streaming, online gaming, and VoIP, where speed is more critical than reliability.
